Use of Services

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account or purchasing services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

You can opt out anytime by replying STOP to any message or emailing support@columbiapublication.com. Payment & Billing

• All fees must be paid in full before service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateways.
• You agree not to initiate chargebacks without first contacting our support team for resolution.

Refund Policy

At Columbia Publication, we strive to ensure all our clients are satisfied with our services. However, we understand that there may be instances where you would want to discontinue our services. Our refund policy is designed with flexibility and fairness in mind.

Active Projects

If you wish to discontinue our services while your project is still active, we will refund the balance of your order on a pro-rata basis. The amount for the work already delivered will be retained, and the remaining balance will be refunded.

Projects 90 Days Old or More

Any project—whether active, on hold, in-progress, or already completed—will not be eligible for a partial or full refund if the payment for that project was made 90 days ago or more.

Prepaid Plans

Our prepaid plans are billed in advance, and we offer refunds on a pro-rata basis in case of early cancellation.

If you decide to cancel your prepaid plan early, you are eligible for a prorated refund calculated based on the original (non-discounted) rate of the services used. This means that even if you received a discount for paying upfront, your refund will be calculated as if you were charged the standard rate for the services you used.

Example Calculation

Let's say you purchase a 12-month book marketing plan worth $1,000 per month or $12,000 annually. You receive a 33% discount for paying upfront, bringing your total to $8,040. After 6 months, you decide to cancel the plan.

• Cost of services used: $1,000 × 6 = $6,000
• Amount paid upfront: $8,040
• Remaining balance: $8,040 − $6,000 = $2,040

Refund = $2,040 ÷ remaining months (6) = $340 per month (if canceled after 6 months).

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method after initiation from the finance department within 3-5 business days.

Complete Refunds

If you have specific concerns and wish to request a complete refund, please send us a refund request. We will review your case and make a decision accordingly.

Chargeback Policy

Any disputes or chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue through our support team may result in:

• Suspension of your account.
• Additional fees for chargeback handling.
• Possible legal action to recover lost funds.

Disclaimer on Results

While we guarantee the publishing of your book or content unless there are reasons beyond our control (such as copyright disputes, legal restrictions, or platform-specific policies), we do not guarantee sales, rankings, or specific outcomes beyond the agreed deliverables. Publishing timelines may vary based on approval processes of third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books).

Limitation of Liability

Columbia Publication is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
