How We Price, Source and Review Our Pages
Published: October 20, 2026
Last reviewed: October 20, 2026 by Gia K., Lead Editor
Every price on columbiapublication.com comes from our published packages, every statistic links to the source it came from, and every guide and comparison is reviewed by our Lead Editor before it goes live. Pages show the date their facts were last checked and when the next check is due. If you find an error, email support@columbiapublication.com and we will correct it.
How are prices on this site set and checked?
Prices on every page are taken from one source: our published packages, which start at $1,499 (Global Publish), $2,499 (Full Production) and $4,999 (Authority System). Service pages that price by unit, such as audiobook production per finished hour, show that rate on the page itself.
- Your exact price is always confirmed in a written quote, within one business day, before you pay anything.
- Pages that state prices carry a line such as "Prices verified October 20, 2026". That date changes only when someone has checked the prices against our packages or changed them.
- We check those pages monthly. The line also shows when the next check is due.
- Columbia Publication charges a one-time fee. We take no share of your royalties, and your rights stay with you.
Where do statistics and outside facts come from?
We use primary or well-known sources wherever we can: Amazon KDP and IngramSpark help pages for platform rules and printing costs, Bowker for ISBN prices, ACX for audiobook terms, and published industry surveys such as Reedsy's for freelance and service costs. Each figure links to the page it came from.
- Platform rules change. When a source updates its rates or rules, we update the pages that quote it.
- We do not round, inflate or reword figures to make them sound better than the source says.
How do we write about other publishing companies?
Columbia Publication is a publishing service, so we have a commercial interest whenever we write about other companies. Our review and comparison pages say so. Facts about another company's prices and terms come from that company's own website, and we cite the page with the date we read it.
- Author experiences come from public review platforms, and we say where they came from.
- We do not accept payment for a position or a mention on any comparison page.
- We say who each option suits, including when a free do-it-yourself route or another company is the better fit.
Who reviews our guides?
Guides, reviews and service pages are written by the Columbia Publication editorial team and reviewed by Gia K., our Lead Editor. Printing pages are checked by our print team against the specifications we actually produce.
How do we correct mistakes?
If a page is wrong, email support@columbiapublication.com with the page address and what needs to change. We check the claim against its source, correct the page, and update its review date.
How do quotes and payment work?
You receive a written quote within one business day that lists every deliverable, what it includes and your delivery date. The price you approve is the price you pay. Packages are paid in full upfront once you approve the quote, and our refund policy is published in full.
