Can I move my book to another company later?
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Yes. Your publishing accounts, ISBNs, final files and source files are already in your name, so there is nothing to hand back and no royalty share to unwind. You can work with any printer, distributor or service after publication.
Why is this simple with Columbia Publication?
Authors who used companies that list books under the company's own account often have to request their files in writing and wait. Because we set your accounts up in your name and hand over every file at finalization, you already hold everything another company would need.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. You pay for the services in your package. We take no rights and no royalties, so there is no exclusive term holding your book.
